Stand Out: "Only is Better Than Best”
Blog post description.

Even after 22 years in the business, I still get envious if I go mindlessly scrolling.
This person has more followers, they got more comments, their book is already launched, that’s the video I was going to make…
…and on and on.
It’s exhausting trying to keep up with business Jones’s, trying to match everyone else's pace, constantly comparing ourselves to others and feeling like we're falling short
The truth is, when we find ourselves failing at the game, it’s because we’re playing the wrong game
When I first started at the temple, I was intimidated by all the Kung Fu enthusiasts and practitioners.
They knew more than me.
They were better than me.
I was constantly comparing myself, only to realize that they weren't there to compete.
They were there to get better than themselves.
My feedback from Sifu wasn't so I could be as good as those guys, but to be better than I was yesterday.
When we embrace this mindset, we find freedom.
We no longer need to measure ourselves against others or compete with them.
Instead, we focus on becoming the best versions of ourselves—something we can do.
It’s time to try a new strategy: Don’t beat the competition-Be the only competition.
“ONLY is better than Best”
We don't need to be better than them, we don't need to compete with them.
Your job is to be the biggest, strongest and most powerful YOU.
The ONLY You there is.
Instead of trying to outshine everyone else, focus on what makes you unique.
What's your one-of-a-kind offering that nobody else can match?
That's your golden ticket to standing out in a crowded market.
Being the best is cool and all, but being the only one who does what you do?
Now, that's where the magic happens.
So, here's the plan: Forget the competition.
Embrace what sets you apart, and shout it from the rooftops.
When you carve out your own niche of your own uniqueness, you'll attract the right people who are hungry for what you have to offer.
